Details

Description:

When a Kernel or grub itself get an update after running the grub-install and mkconfig to reinstall n rebuild, on boot I get thrown into grub rescue mode with it complaining about /boot/grub/x86_64-efi/normal.mod not being found.. It happens sometimes not all the time.. I do not understand this and it's annoying...

* Image of error is all I got (attached)

Steps to reproduce:
sudo grub-install --target=x86_64-efi --efi-directory=/boot/efi
sudo grub-mkconfig -o /boot/grub/grub.cfg

Sorry, but this is not an effective bug report [1] because there is no evidence of an Arch packaging bug, nor can we do anything with "Randomly" or "annoying".

Your first port of call for this kind of issue is always the Arch support channels (Forum/IRC/Mailing Lists/Reddit/etc). If an Arch packaging bug is identified, of course please come back here and let us know the details. If an upstream bug is identified, it needs to be reported upstream. At the moment there is nothing here that Arch can "action".
