Description: Firefox crashes more or less frequently on normal usage, apparently since v114.0.2-1.
Unfortunately, I haven't found a particular action/pattern that triggers the crashes. The crashes themself and the crashes' frequency seems to be random.

Additional info:
* v114.0.2-1
* No extra configs
* Links to the two crash reports I had this morning:
- https://crash-stats.mozilla.org/report/index/ecad9d84-f3af-4f7f-a980-2ec440230703
- https://crash-stats.mozilla.org/report/index/58713941-9ded-443c-858f-566350230703

Steps to reproduce:
Launch firefox, use it normally and eventually see it crash randomly.

I'll drop more details if I can manage to get some!

Don't quote me on that, but I think the two times it crashed this morning on my side was when I opened a new tab.
I tried to open multiple new tabs in different ways right now and firefox didn't crashed though so I can't assure you it is relevant...

I'm also experiencing this after the latest update, and I'm noticing this is generally occuring when opening or closing a tab too (doesn't happen every time; closing/opening gives a 'chance' to crash). I haven't observed Firefox crashing otherwise, so I'm guessing the bug's likely related to browser tab operations.

Edit: just got a random crash while idle, so maybe it isn't tab-specific?

Haven't seen it here. Reported upstream?

Any more crashes since linux 6.4.1.arch2? Preferably tested without upgrading to Firefox 115.

Seems fine so far after a few hours.

I have been suffering from these crashes in Firefox since 6.4 rc1 kernel. Almost two months making sure that with 6.3 Firefox (113 & 114)were stable, and with 6.4 they were not. I thought it would be because of the modified Firefox version I used, compiled by myself, but I was wrong.

CONFIG_PER_VMA_LOCK was the culprit for sure.

0 crashes in the last 24 hours.
