DetailsHey there!
First of all it's a pleasure to help projects like this, but all good things come to an end. I added my servers to the mirror list because I wanted to contribute, but since I added the servers I've been dealing with attacks from all sides, it can only be stupid coincidence now, I'm not blaming the Arch community for that now. I'm not saying something like this can happen when you add them to a public list. In the last month almost 5TB of data went through the network, 3.4TB was "real" traffic, the rest was garbage. In numbers there are currently about 3 bruteforce attacks per second. I don't want to say that I don't have a problem with it, as I said, I expected it, but it's the hosters who eventually turn off the tap. Currently two of my nodes are completely offline because of DDOS attacks. Therefore I came to the decision to remove my Nodes from the Arch Mirrorlist. Unfortunately there are always people who spoil the fun, whether these people come from here or from somewhere else does not matter. I thank you for your trust, the nodes will go offline from the 9th of July. |
This task depends upon
It's unfortunate it has come to this. I went away and removed it from the list. Thank you for offering many of your resources to the Arch community!
Regards,
Arun
