Description:
The command `xrandr --output eDP-1 --mode 1920x1080` creates a tile effect and the resolution does not fill the entire screen despite the mode being available.

This bug started to appear _after_ upgrading the system, the first kernel version where I started to observe the bug is linux-lts 6.1.35-1, all newer versions including linux kernel versions are affected.

- xrandr shows that the mode is supported (1920x1080) both before and after upgrade
- xorg is not upgraded so not related
- nvidia version: 535.54.03-3
- bug appears on all modes of optimus-manager (integrated, hybrid, nvidia)
- installing or uninstalling nvidia driver yields the same effect
- system fully updated

Additional info:
* package version(s): linux-lts 6.1.35-1
* config and/or log files etc.
* link to upstream bug report, if any
