mirror.flokinet.net is now ro.mirror.flokinet.net
We are currently rolling out new mirrors in different countries so we assigned our pre-existing mirror a location specific prefix. The old mirror.flokinet.net domain will remain valid but will at some point be converted to an anycast ip that routes to our closest by mirror.

Hi,

Thanks for letting us know about this change. Currently, anycast ip is not supported for ArchLinux mirrors. When a mirror is added to the mirror list, they are periodically tested by archweb and all these tests are logged for us to see as well in case of issues. Using anycast for a single domain would "hide" the real servers and also would make it hard for users to troubleshoot any problems that come with mirrors. If you wish to offer all the servers, please create separate domains for each and we will add them to the list of mirrors under the same domain name.

Hi,
that's what we did. Each mirror has a seperate subdomain and mirror.flokinet.net is anycast so we kindly request you update the entry of mirror.flokinet.net to ro.mirror.flokinet.net in your database so you won't be accessing our mirrors through anycast but via its unicast IP
