The home button/logo in the lower left has stopped working. It does not open the start menu any more. As a result, the PC needs to be shutdown via terminal. Low prio for advanced users, but a huge problem for beginners. Additional info: * extra/cinnamon 5.8.1-1 * default config Steps to reproduce: I did not change any configs that should cause this issue. |

FWIW, I cannot repro in a fresh Cinnamon VM. The only possible glitch I can foresee is when users don't pay attention to pacman output and end up installing "xdg-desktop-portal-gnome" which has been reported to cause slowdowns dozens and dozens of times in the forum. Remove that pkg, then everything runs like a dream.
