Details

Description:
The home button/logo in the lower left has stopped working. It does not open the start menu any more. As a result, the PC needs to be shutdown via terminal.
Low prio for advanced users, but a huge problem for beginners.

Steps to reproduce:
I did not change any configs that should cause this issue.

This is not an effective bug report because there is not enough info provided to pinpoint an Arch packaging bug. It's more suited to the support channels (Forum/IRC/Mailing Lists/Reddit/etc). If an Arch packaging bug is identified, please return here with the details.

FWIW, I cannot repro in a fresh Cinnamon VM. The only possible glitch I can foresee is when users don't pay attention to pacman output and end up installing "xdg-desktop-portal-gnome" which has been reported to cause slowdowns dozens and dozens of times in the forum. Remove that pkg, then everything runs like a dream.
