openblas is an optional dependency of R (package r), which also has a hard dependency on lapack. As I understand it, openblas now provides lapack (and cblas), but there is no relevant provides information in the PKGBUILD. Please can this be fixed? Additional info: * package version(s) * config and/or log files etc. * link to upstream bug report, if any Steps to reproduce: # pacman -Syu :: installing openblas (0.3.23-3) breaks dependency 'blas' required by cblas :: installing openblas (0.3.23-3) breaks dependency 'blas' required by lapack |

No, it's blas-openblas which provides lapack. See the front page news.
