Description:
Hey,

I'm on Manjaro that uses GNOME 1.44.1. The recent update broke gnome shell, it seems the latest update broke gnome shell. It often restarts, restarting my entire UI and I see its coredump in the logs.

I've opened a manjaro forum support topic about it, then another Arch user noted he's got the same problem.

Here's the support topic:
https://forum.manjaro.org/t/2023-06-05-update-broke-gnome-shell/141740

Additional info:
* package version(s): gnome-shell 1:44.1-3 (after having it recompiled from AUR for testing if it fixes the breakage)
* config and/or log files etc: see the forum link

Steps to reproduce:
I can't tell you much about it. Simply running the gnome shell seems to suffice.

1. Setting severity "Critical" means you didn't read the bug guidelines [1]
2. You're not on a genuine Arch system which is not supported here [2]
3. This is not an effective bug report (severe lack of detail). Please review the guidelines in full [3]

Everything seems fine here. If you're getting frequent "coredumps" you're supposed to provide backtraces with debug symbols [4]

Unless we can reproduce on a genuine Arch system we cannot help. Please visit the proper support channels to see if anyone can help troubleshoot your problem.
