Notifications on new mail do not appear; no dbus signals are sent to org.freedesktop.Notifications. The option "Show notification when a new message arrives" does not appear in Edit->Preferences->Plugins->Mail Notification->Configuration. I reported upstream [1] and was informed that evolution must not have been built with libnotify. [1] https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/evolution/-/issues/2385 Steps to reproduce: Upgrade to 3.48.2-1. Upon downgrading to 3.48.1-1, the "Show notification" option re-appears, and notifications are operational. |
