Description:
I updated my whole system yesterday and today again.
After that apps that use the gtk libraries take at least a minute to start up. Every other app and system startup is fine.
Some gtk file browser dialogs are fine too (out of vscode for example).

Solution:
Uninstall xdg-desktop-portal-gnome.

Thanks, but please review the guidelines [1] to see how to prepare an effective bug report. Stuff like this is better suited to the support channels (Forum/IRC/Mailing lists/Reddit/etc). In fact, it's been reported numerous times in the Forum already e.g. [2][3][4]. It doesn't appear to be an Arch packaging bug which means it needs to be reported upstream e.g. [5]
