Just to confirm you tried applying https://github.com/util-linux/util-linux/commit/c0267687fd7b41b00d523d1985182d7eb574effd and the issue is still present?

This seems like an upstream problem. Possibly related [1].

Just pushed util-linux 2.39-2... Can you test and verify it is fixed?
Comment by GuangDai (GuangDai) - Thursday, 25 May 2023, 13:53 GMT
Already tested in 2.39.2. Bug still exists. You can see https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?pid=2101580 .

If any fix, I can test when I have enough time.

Is it possible that a background process (anything with `udisks` oder `gvfs` for example) is still using the old library?
Did you reboot before test?
Comment by GuangDai (GuangDai) - Thursday, 25 May 2023, 14:11 GMT
Yes, rebooted. I always reboot after updating packages.

Since this issue surfaced in Fedora Rawhide, it has subsequently manifested in Gentoo and Arch.

waiting for 2.39.4 deps to land in rawhide repo to test:

Just pushed util-linux 2.39-3 to fix a stupid typo... 🙈

Udisks works and I can mount via GUI now. It seems no bug in 2.39.3.
