Hello,
I've been running a Tier 2 mirror for about 3 months now, and I'd like to switch over to a T1 if possible. The details for the mirror are the following: URL: mirror.5i.fi/archlinux Rsync URL: rsync://mirror.5i.fi/archlinux Location: Finland Access methods: HTTP, HTTPS, RSYNC Usable bandwidth: 10Gbps Contact: nicklas@5i.fi Current T1 sync mirror: mirrors.xtom.de Rsync IPs: 89.190.3.198, 2a03:7c00:11:25::198 Previous T2 mirror request thread for reference: https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/77614 |

I'm sorry to be bugging you all, but I was just wondering whether this has been looked at yet?
Thanks!
I'm still interesting in upgrading to a Tier 1 mirror if possible, and was just wondering whether this has been looked at yet?
Thanks again!
Your mirror seems to be having issues at the moment https://archlinux.org/mirrors/mirror.5i.fi/. Generally we'd prefer mirrors with a longer presence and consistent stability to become a T1 mirror and 3 months is not a great amount of time to confirm that. We are also discussing reworking T1 requirements which might change in the future https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/DeveloperWiki_talk:NewMirrors#Rework_Tier_model/requirements
Thank you for taking your time to look at my mirror. I wasn't unfortunately able to fix the issue any earlier, as I was asleep when it occurred. The issue ended up being network related within my virtualization environment. I'm going to be working on improving my fault resiliency and uptime. When should I try to apply again? 6 months, a year from now on?
Thank you!
