DetailsDescription: GCC 13 added -Wdangling-reference to -Wall and it is generating too many false positives. It has been moved to -Wextra in GCC 13's git.
See here when compiling OpenJDK 21: ``` /home/aorth/src/git/wakefield/src/java.desktop/share/native/libharfbuzz/hb-open-file.hh:421:29: error: possibly dangling reference to a temporary [-Werror=dangling-reference] 421 | const OpenTypeFontFace &face = (this+map).get_face (idx, &(this+data)); | ^~~~ ... cc1plus: all warnings being treated as errors ``` Additional info: * gcc 13.1.1-1 * https://gcc.gnu.org/git/gitweb.cgi?p=gcc.git;h=6b927b1297e66e26e62e722bf15c921dcbbd25b9 |
