DetailsDescription:
The internal version of the egg provided by python-cmake-build-extension is 0.0.0, which breaks other packages that depend on a minimum version of the package. The reason for this incorrect version is a missing makedepends on python-setuptools-scm. This would have been noticed immediately if the package used PEP 517 to build, so that might be a good idea to change as well. Steps to reproduce: 1. Build python-cmake-build-extension 0.5.1 2. Package file contains /usr/lib/python3.11/site-packages/cmake_build_extension-0.0.0-py3.11.egg-info/ 3. Add python-setuptools-scm to makedepends, build again 4. Package contains /usr/lib/python3.11/site-packages/cmake_build_extension-0.5.1-py3.11.egg-info/ |
