Description:

If mate-screensaver is installed alone it fails to start:

GLib-GIO-ERROR **: 18:08:33.947: Settings schema 'org.mate.panel' is not installed

Installing mate-panel as well fixes the issue.

* package version(s): mate-screensaver 1.26.1-1

$ sudo pacman -S mate-screensaver
$ mate-screensaver
