The xine-lib version we have in archlinux is in fact 1.0rc3b, while the package version number is 1.0rc3c. I flagged the package out of date a few days ago, but it seems the maintainer didn't notice the problem and unflagged it again. (hey, we have 1.0rc3c in arch, it's not outdated! ;))

The latest versions of totem require the new version of xine.

oops.

However, that was not wise to flag it. It's not the same as being outdated and we don't have to tell you this JGC, don't blame me for untagging it.
