The package has a bunch of redundant python-* packages as dependencies. Many of them aren't used at all because home-assistant wants specific versions of the packages and installs them in its' venv using pip when it starts for the first time. For example python-sqlalchemy: arch has version 1.4.x, but home-assistant pulls in 2.0.x (depending on the ha version), so the one installed by pacman never gets used. So I'd suggest removing all the python-* deps and installing that way, and then re-adding only the ones that home-assistant can't install automatically. |

Would love to get a definitive list. I'm using hassos nowadays and I ca only spare time to keep this package alive right now.

I can go through the dependencies at some point, but I can't give any time estimates since I'm pretty busy. Luckily it's not urgent!
