DetailsDescription:
After upgrading geogebra from 6.0.774.0-1 to 6.0.775.0-1, I noticed that the disk space usage of this package increased noticeably. Turned out that geogebra now ships with a core dump file at /usr/lib/geogebra/resources/app/node_modules/ffi-napi/core, which is 49 MiB big: # file /usr/lib/geogebra/resources/app/node_modules/ffi-napi/core /usr/lib/geogebra/resources/app/node_modules/ffi-napi/core: ELF 64-bit LSB core file, x86-64, version 1 (SYSV), SVR4-style, from 'node /work/ggb-electron/src/node_modules/.bin/node-gyp-build-test', real uid: 111, effective uid: 111, real gid: 121, effective gid: 121, execfn: '/usr/bin/node', platform: 'x86_64' It looks like it got there by accident, it doesn't look useful for geogebra itself, and it is considerably big compared to the rest of geogebra files that occupy 69 MiB. Additional info: * geogebra 6.0.775.0-1 Steps to reproduce: 1. Upgrade to geogebra 6.0.775.0-1. 2. Observe a new 49 MiB core dump file at /usr/lib/geogebra/resources/app/node_modules/ffi-napi/core. |
