Description:
Audacity: cannot generate any tone, chirp or pluck sound.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Start audacity and attempt to generate a sound such as a Tone.
2. The dialog will appear, but there will be no way to enter Tone duration. Only a grey bar exists where one would assume the field would be.
With very careful mouse cursor positioning, the grey bar can be made to become a white field as if a very small input field, but nothing can be typed in.
