DetailsThe attached path to makepkg does two things:
(1) it will source $PKGDEST from /etc/makepkg.conf if it is set there (this allows a default directory for packages to be set; it is overridden by the -w switch). (2) makepkg will fail if $PKGDEST doesn't exist or the user can't cd to it (at the moment makepkg will save the package in $PWD if this is the case. - olly |
