1) /etc/X11/xdm/Xresources.pacnew contains the line #if WIDTH > 800 with no closing #endif 2) Every time xdm starts, a message is logged in /var/log/xdm.log xdm error (pid 3630): can't execute "bindir/xrdb" (err 2) and the Xresources file is never read in and utilized (even an old file with fully matching #if/#endif's) Steps to reproduce: 1) Install/Update xorg-xdm 1.1.5-1 2) Start xdm |

2) is fixed by a new upstream version. 1) isn't fixed upstream it seems.

For 2) here's a patch and the updated PKGBUILD. I also removed the pam dependency (namcap says 'already satisfied').
