DetailsDescription:
gnome-keyring should be dependency of cinnamon-screensaver. Additional info: * package version(s) $ pacman -Q cinnamon cinnamon-screensaver cinnamon 5.6.8-1 cinnamon-screensaver 5.6.3-1 * config and/or log files etc. No changes to /etc/pam.d * link to upstream bug report, if any Steps to reproduce: Install a minimal system with lightdm and cinnamon. Create a user and set a password. Log in to cinnamon graphical session and lock the screen with the keyboard shortcut (ctrl + alt + l) Enter password to unlock the screensaver. Observed: All password attempts are incorrect. Clicking the "switch user" button and logging in via the lightdm password entry unlocks the screensaver and takes you back to the desktop. Install gnome-keyring Lock screen again and try unlocking it. Observed: screensaver unlocks correctly from the password box now that gnome-keyring is installed. |
