Can't explain, see steps to reproduce to understand. What is odd though, which you'll see when you read the steps to reproduce, and read the pkgbuilds (available at the url for the repo below), you'll notice libcompizconfig does NOT require compizconfig-python, although pacman says it does. Steps to Reproduce: With my compiz fusion repo ([compiz-fusion] Server = http://arch.nesl247.org/compiz-fusion/i686) pacman -S compiz-fusion pacman -S compiz-fusion-git This should return an error like: :: libcompizconfig requires compizconfig-python |
