Details

Description:
Installing man-db doesn't create the index database or the folder to host cat pages. The folder were both should be found is /etc/cache/man.

Additional info:
* package version: 2.11.2

Steps to reproduce:
- Run sudo -S man-db
- Notice that /etc/cache/man doesn't exist.

Note that running `sudo mandb -c` will properly create the folder and the index database

The man-db.timer cakes care of this for you. there's no need to do this manually.

See also /usr/lib/tmpfiles.d/man-db.conf - so /var/cache is used therefor.
