Details

Description:
gitlab-shell used to support hooks that were implemented using ruby. This support was moved to gitlab-gitally in [1][2]. There is no other runtime use of ruby.
The two Makefile targets that use ruby, test_ruby and _script_install are not called during build() so ruby can be dropped from depends.
