Description:

Since I did not find the category "Packages: KDE-Unstable", I choose "Testing", connecting iDevice to the computer with KDE Plasma, I have access to MTP of the device itself, but I have no access to folders from "Apps" folder, which is made through "cunning" symlink in KDE Dolphin.

And the first thing I want to say, in the same KDE Neon with the same version of KDE Gear 23.03.80 package, opens folder from "Apps" folder and there is no such bug and access to iDevice via dolphin is present and works like clockwork.

In Arch Linux, with the same version of the package, when opening the same folder from the folder "Apps", the terminal error pops up, which is shown in the screenshot, also I noticed the "kf.kio.workers.afc: Failed to get device info for free disk usage 2", this error does not exist in the KDE Neon build.

Additional info:
* package version(s) - kio-extras 23.03.80, dolphin 23.03.80
* config and/or log files etc.- From screenshot

Steps to reproduce:
1. Take any iDevice; (it makes no difference if it has an A6-A10 or A12-17 processor)
2. Connecting to a computer with KDE Plasma and Dolphin;
3. Open the MTP iDevice in dolphin
4. Open the "Apps" folder
5. And try to open any of the folders in the "Apps" folder

This is what comes out. That's the way it's supposed to be.

Please test whether using libimobiledevice-git from AUR works. I do not have access to any Apple device so I can't test this.

So, I compiled libimobiledevice-git, yes, now from the folder "Apps" opens the contents and the error kf.kio.workers.afc: Failed to get device info for free disk usage 2 no longer, I understand you need to fix libimobiledevice to your developers. Okay, the problem is gone, close the task.

Which version of libimobiledevice is your working Neon system shipping?
