Details gtk3 is needed only to compile the test application, but not by the package: https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/libgxps/-/blob/f5027ed09c767e8a02e652fbc77dcea79e19e10d/meson.build#L243-246 Please move gtk3 to makedepends=(), and add cairo to depends=() of libgxps.
