It's great that 4.0 has finally been released and I think this package should definitely be what ever the latest version is. But the 3.x branch has been designated as LTS and will still be used by a number of users who won't/can't port their projects to 4.0. Would it make sense to have both a 4.0 and 3.x LTS packages?

There is already a bunch of godot3 packages in the AUR that I maintain. If you want, install godot3-bin for an easy way to keep on using godot 3.x. There is also `godot3`, which is quite literally the PKGBUILD that was used by `godot`.

I see them in AUR now - I must have missed them. Thanks for making it. I meant to ask if it'd be in AUR in my original post.
