DetailsWhen trying to start gajim 1.7.1-1, it outputs the following error message on the terminal:
Gajim needs python-nbxmpp >= 4.2.0 (found 4.0.1) to run. Quitting... Archlinux repos currently only contain python-nbxmpp 4.0.1-1. Updating the outdated python-nbxmpp package is a separate issue, but the python-nbxmpp depedency in the gajim package metadata should reflect that version requirement too, especially when that version is not available from the repos. |

gajim 1.7.1-2 in community-testing along with python-nbxmpp 4.2.0-1
