DetailsDescription:
Seems like the upgrade from 056-1 -> 056-2 breaks the bgrt boot splash screen and the LUKS password screen for me. Since nothing changed in between these versions except the patch, my guess is that's the culprit. The plymouth module/services/images are included in the initrd and systemd reports no errors from plymouth, so I'm not sure what's going on. The splash works when shutting down but not when booting up. However I'm not affected by https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/77569 since I don't use LVM setup. So downgrading to 056-1 seems to work fine for me. I use systemd-boot as bootloader. Sorry, it started working after I reinstalled dracut to force regenerate the initramfs, something probably went wrong during the initial upgrade.
