Description:

New magnet/torrent management system in 4.x makes many already downloaded files as 0% and restart the downloads, already fixed in upstream but to be included in 4.0.2.

However, 4.0.1 will behave incorrectly until then. Perhaps a downgrade to 4.0.0 meanwhile? Already fixed at upstream by #5025 (see link to upstream bug report)

Additional info:
* package version(s) 4.0.1
* config and/or log files etc.
* link to upstream bug report, if any https://github.com/transmission/transmission/pull/5025

Steps to reproduce:
Upgrade from 3.00 to 4.0.1 with many torrents already downloaded, upon starting the new version, many torrents will start to be downloaded again. Verification won't be allowed in many cases.

Please downgrade Transmission. Version 4.0.1 crashes as soon as it shows the GUI.
I downgraded to transmission-qt-3.00-6 which runs smoothly.

If you rebuild the package with [1] applied as in the attached diff is the issue resolved?

Hi, thanks for the patch, but I decided to keep 3.00 for some months, looking at the transmission github issues backlog, they have quite a lot of things to fix that are arising in this new 4.x version, so I'll just wait and wish them the best. My last issue was with the GUI version, a file was supposedly downloaded at 100%, but there were some corruption issues while using it, and after checking with 3.00, it was actually at 98%, reverifying with 4.0.1 insists on 100%. So, I'll wait.
