DetailsHello there,
Arch no longer boots after the most recent LTS kernel (6.1) update. I had the same problem when I was on the stable version; after the update, it also failed. Downgrading saved me in both cases. I'm not sure why this is happening, so I tested Fedora with the most recent kernel. The same result. As I understood the issue with my laptop's old hardware, everything worked fine on my mini pc with newer hardware. |

This confirms it's an upstream problem. It's unfortunate but there is little we can do with the info provided. I suggest you try the latest 6.2.1 kernel in [testing] then visit the proper support channels (forum/IRC/etc) to see if anyone can help in tracking down the issue. The general advice for kernel regressions is here [1]. Please let us know if you have any luck.

I found on fedora's forum the person with the similar issue and quite the same laptop. There was some advice on a solution, which I will try this weekend, but in any case, someone might find this link useful right now.
