e.g. Treecomp https://lploeger.home.xs4all.nl/TreeComp.htm stopped to draw major display elements like the directory trees This seems to be introduced with the last update wine (8.1-1 -> 8.2-1) It worked before on different PC's & VM's for lets say 15 years without problems. I verified it on two PC's now and on both with 8.2-1 the same effect exists. One is a Intel i5 Gen1 Laptop, the other a Ryzen Gen2 AMD - so very different hardware. but that's not a feasible Workflow for normal users in the real world,
normal users don't know about upstream, normal users don't debug things.
normal users need a single point of reporting. Thats the only solution.
Arch is not a "normal" distro. It being run by volunteers means IMHO you have to be prepared to knuckle down and help yourself. Good luck.
