It's happened before [1]. Lots of hits when searching for that error. Mirror up-to-date? Rebooted?

Or VirtualBox is not compatible with libvpx 1.13.0 or rebuild failed.

I got the same issue.
Starting the VM from the command line doesn't give any more details.

VBoxManage: error: Failed to create the VirtualBox object!
VBoxManage: error: Code NS_ERROR_FACTORY_NOT_REGISTERED (0x80040154) - Class not registered (extended info not available)
VBoxManage: error: Most likely, the VirtualBox COM server is not running or failed to start.

Hmm, perhaps I did the rebuild when libvpx 1.13.0 was not yet available (on my mirror?) in staging repository?
Rebuilding... That should fix the trouble.
