Details

After installing transmission-cli 4.0.0-1 from [testing], starting transmission.service, and navigating to the web interface, it says:

404: Not Found
Couldn't find Transmission's web interface files!
Users: to tell Transmission where to look, set the TRANSMISSION_WEB_HOME environment variable to the folder where the web interface's index.html is located.
Package Builders: to set a custom default at compile time, #define PACKAGE_DATA_DIR in libtransmission/platform.c or tweak tr_getClutchDir() by hand.

Comparing the package files from transmission-cli 3.00-6 and transmission-cli 4.0.0-1, it seems that the /usr/share/transmission/web/ directory is missing from the package.

What if you rebuild the package with the attached diff applied?

I rebuild the package and then had to set
Environment="TRANSMISSION_WEB_HOME=/usr/share/transmission/web"
in the transmission.service file for the web interface to work.

So the path has to end /transmission/public_html/ for auto detection to find it.
Does this updated diff allow the service to work without needing to specify TRANSMISSION_WEB_HOME?

Yup, that looks good on my side. transmission is running and the web interface is reachable.
