I built the podman-git in AUR and it does not have that problem. The workaround is to change the config in /usr/share which is not really nice.

I've dug out that https://github.com/containers/podman/commit/f65d79f4c78b5f42c65e6a9c43fe4b800b2e8fcb (https://github.com/containers/storage/commit/f64e1bd14ae9e8694c4ead537569d139853d32bc) is the fix of this issue.

Problematic version in arch is the current `podman version 4.4.0-dev`.
