The newest Cairo breaks the usage of Curves in GIMP

Reversing to the past version makes Curves usable again.

Additional notes. Histogram and levels displays are also affected. The effect is visible in all four default themes. Confirmed on Xfce4, with Adwaita, Adwaita Dark and Adwaita High-Contrast themes.

The bug does not manifest itself e.g. on an entirely white image.

I reported it to Cairo. Until they fix it, my suggestion for the maintainer is to downgrade to 1.17.6 version.
