DetailsBy default, a non-Arabic font is chosen to display Arabic text. The Nastaliq fonts are unreadable for Arabs. They are used by Urdu speakers, mainly Pakistanis.
I have tried many configurations but none will truly work except just blocking these fonts. So I suggest adding the attached file to the conf.avail directory. Arabic users who want to fix this issue can use it rather than searching the internet. The default behavior is unchanged. |
This task depends upon

Wouldn't it be better to try and fix the root cause of the problem?
In the meantime, please add your fix to the wiki so other users can find it.
