This is already fixed in 102.7.0-2. If you still have issues, please describe exactly your setup and the steps to reproduce.

As the discussion in https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1810760 They have reopened the issue and said that need 102.7.1

Did you try the 102.7.0-2 package? Or just making assumptions that it is not fixed?

This was not fixed in the version 102.7.0-2. The bug is still present, and prevents working with silly MS servers.

That is unrelated to the upstream bug you have mentioned, which is fixed in 102.7.0-2

From the upstream announcement you have linked:

If you encounter a screen saying “Need admin approval” during the login process, please contact your IT administrators to approve the client ID 9e5f94bc-e8a4-4e73-b8be-63364c29d753 for Mozilla Thunderbird (it previously appeared to non-admins as “Mzla Technologies Corporation”).

Reopening as I didn't notice the last comment wasn't form the OP. Waiting for the OP to clarify.

Well, I have installed extra/thunderbird 102.7.0-1 and it does not work

That is why we asked about 102.7.0-2...
Comment by Andrea Giovine (TheLillo) - Monday, 30 January 2023, 11:25 GMT
