Description:

When running the latest version of libx11 with steam-native it causes a lot of messages like "Xlib: sequence lost (0x20000 > 0x1d667) in reply type 0xc!" to appear (log spam). Downgrading libx11 to 1.8.2-2 fixes the problem.

Additional info:
* package version(s): libx11-1.8.3-6
* link to upstream bug report, if any

Steps to reproduce:

1. Run steam-native using the latest version of libx11.
2. See lots of messages in your journal:

Xlib: sequence lost (0x20000 > 0x1d667) in reply type 0xc!
Xlib: sequence lost (0x20000 > 0x1d66a) in reply type 0xc!
Xlib: sequence lost (0x20000 > 0x1d66d) in reply type 0xc!
Xlib: sequence lost (0x20000 > 0x1d670) in reply type 0xc!
Xlib: sequence lost (0x20000 > 0x1d673) in reply type 0xc!

lib32-libx11 needs the same patches as libx11 got in 1.8.3-6 , this one https://github.com/archlinux/svntogit-packages/blob/packages/libx11/trunk/176.diff

So this is essentially a dupe of  FS#69295  which was recently reopened then closed again as "Fixed". If it's not fixed you will have to report it upstream. Arch is not responsible for upstream issues [2]. There is already an upstream ticket [3]. Log spam is annoying but unless it also affects functionality it's of low priority.
