KeepassXC has Wayland support. There already is an optional package to make the clipboard work under Wayland. However qt5-wayland also needs to be installed for Wayland to work. Could you please add it to the list of optional dependencies? Steps to reproduce: Try to run 'QT_QPA_PLATFORM=wayland keepassxc'. It will fail if qt5-wayland is not installed but it will work if it is installed. |

If you force the wayland platform, then of course you need qt5-wayland. This is the case for every single qt5 application, not just keepassxc. The optional dependency is already in qt5-base, where it belongs.
