Detailsperl-finance-quote previously had pgver=1.5301, and now has pkgver=1.54. Pacman sees this as a downgrade, and thus does not upgrade the package, instead printing this warning:
warning: perl-finance-quote: local (1.5301-1) is newer than community (1.54-1) Without manual intervention, pacman will hold the package back indefinitely unless future versions of the package either bump the epoch, or consistently use version numbers with extra trailing digits like 1.5400 instead of 1.54. |
