DetailsDescription:
numactl should be the dependency of slurm-llnl package. Currently it's listed as an optional dependency. If numactl is not installed slurmd will return error: slurmd: error while loading shared libraries: libnuma.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory Additional info: * package version: slurm-llnl 22.05.4.1-1 Steps to reproduce: - Install slurm-llnl (numactl not installed). - run "slurmd --version" it returns error "slurmd: error while loading shared libraries: libnuma.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory" - Install numactl - run "slurmd --version" again it gives correct version info. |
