DetailsSystem Freezes on EFI logo on booting with kernel 6.1.3, Keyboard was also not working. System fixed by installing linux-lts package and booting from it.
This was in a actual physical (installation was on USB removable storage) system and not in virtual mode. details: System Information: Intel Pentium Gold G6400, Intel UHD 610 Graphics, 8GB RAM, Board: MSI H410. I used a different way to install the Arch. On current running Manjaro system I ran the Arch ISO, which was not latest but almost 7 month old, on gnome-boxes, attach a 32 GB USB removable to gnome boxes and install Arch on it. after installation completed , when I try to boot from that medium the system freezed to The MSI boot logo, keyboard was also not working. did force switch off. install linux-lts with arch-chroot, updated grub-mkconfig and finally arch linux booted successfully from lts-kernel. |
