Details

Description:
the file /usr/share/mime/packages/audacity.xml only has the old .aup file format, not the new .aup3. When I try to open a project it doesn't do it automatically

Upstream issue...Arch is simply packaging what upstream provides. Looks like they have addressed it for future release [1]
