Description:

partclone.jfs is part of the upstream partclone tool but is not included in the Arch community package. I have some disk partitions formatted with jfs and it would be nice to be able to perform backups using partclone.jfs.

Have you actually tested it? This came up years ago and back then it didn't want to build  FS#38924 .

Based on the tests I have done with the partclone.jfs that comes with Clonezilla, it appears that partclone.jfs basically broken. All the attempts I have done to restore a backup made with partclone.jfs claim that the restore was successful, but a fsck.jfs shows that the restored partition is loaded with filesystem errors. I'll have to withdraw this request until they fix the upstream tool.
