Details

Description:

When booting my friend's AX201 card disappeared. This happened after upgrading linux and linux-firmware, seemed to be fixed by downgrading linux-firmware but after closer inspection it wasn't either of these packages. Possibly a race condition.

Boot the computer and try to connect to Wi-Fi. Rebooting may fix this.

Your best bet is to report this kind of problem upstream. Probably to the linux-wireless mailing list [1]. You are using systemd-networkd so systemd could also be a factor, in which case temporarily using a different Network manager might be useful for troubleshooting. Please let us know what you find out.
