Detailslibarchive-3.6.2 has the following line added to the pkgconfig file:
Requires.private: iconv libssl libcrypto The iconv is not needed as the build uses glibc's iconv implementation and not an external library. This causes users of the .pc file to search for iconv, when it remains unneeded (the reason for pkgconf searching for private libraries when not building statically is a whole other story!). In particular, this breaks the pacman build. The following line in the package() function will address the issue: sed -i "s/iconv //" "$pkgdir"/usr/lib/pkgconfig/libarchive.pc Bumped the severity up as it currently breaks the pacman CI. |
