DetailsDescription:
By using tools like zsteg on Arch Linux, when I run it on a PNG image by `zsteg -v image.png` and I don't get a complete output. The tool is working well on Debian-based OS, and according to the "zsteg" developer, the issue is related to "file" tool and its current version on Arch Linux, 5.34. The "file" issue has been already fixed in the latest version (that should be 5.39), in details: https://github.com/file/file/blob/master/ChangeLog#L3 "Restore the ability to process files from stdin immediately" Arch Linux has file 5.43, with a bug that is already fixed, but not released yet. Can you please update the 5.34 version of the package to the latest one? On Debian the file latest version should be 5.39. Additional info: * package version: 5.34 |
