Details

Description:
Launching spotify-launcher from the terminal or GUI sticks for a few seconds on black screen, then pops up "Something went wrong. Try reloading the page." and stays in this state despite whatever clickery.

Additional info:
* package version(s): 0.3.0-2
* config and/or log files etc.

Steps to reproduce:

$ spotify-launcher

ctrl+c to segfault

Just tried in a fresh VM. Gets to the login window no problem i.e. cannot repro. Trace is of no use when symbols are not available (obviously coz closed source deb download). Try blowing away ~/.cache/spotify as suggested here [1]

Clearing ~/.cache/spotify worked, thanks!

Even though, did not have anything to do with shared links, mentioned on the link provided.

Was speculating that it has something to do with the system libraries. Likely, I was wrong.
